The Rockland Weaving Circle meets at Susan Barrett Merrill's studio in Brooksville, Maine.
June 6: Shearing sheep on Flat Island
An annual expedition to Flat Island, off the coast of Maine, to shear the semi-wild flock of sheep. Susan helps in grading the fleeces and rolling them for transport.
June 12-14: Alcyon Center--Weaving an Emerging Community

Held at The Cobscook Community Learning Center (The CCLC) in Trescott, Maine, near Lubec.
November 10-16: 3rd Annual Bermuda Fibre Festival, Bermuda
Susan Barrett Merrill will be Artist in Residence at this annual fiber festival, organized by Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation in Bermuda. A special spark will be Bermuda's 400th birthday in 2009!
